JILI explained

When it began and where it is headquartered both go unstated. Across its portfolio sit slots and bingo, as well as fishing games and table and card games.

Top of the list on its page is PAGCOR (Electronic Gaming Licensing Department). PAGCOR EGLD lists JILI as a supplier whose electronic games have received approval.

The thing most often got wrong here

The most important difference on this page is that between a PAGCOR operator licence and a PAGCOR EGLD listing. An EGLD listing stands as a record that PAGCOR has approved a studio’s game content for the operators it licenses. This is no licence held by the studio, and it has no bearing on any casino carrying those games.

Beyond that, there is nothing for four of the seven studios below. Their pages say it plainly: “PAGCOR listed” and “PAGCOR licensed” are separated by one word and a great deal of meaning, and a reader usually wants the second.

1. Searching the MGA authorisation portal by company name, not brand name, is how you check a Malta licence. Licences often sit with a subsidiary under another name, and Pragmatic Play’s Malta licence is a case in point, held by Pragmatic Solutions MT Limited rather than by any entity called Pragmatic Play.
2. A UK licence can be searched on the Gambling Commission public register through its account number. On the record for an active licence you will see its activities, the start date of each, and any regulatory settlement against the holder.
3. On pagcor.ph, find the studio’s approved-games PDF when you want to verify a PAGCOR EGLD listing. The approval applies to game content that licensed operators use, so read it that way. A licence for the studio exists only when the document states it.
4. The studio’s page for that title is where an RTP figure should come from. No comparison site can fill in a figure that is absent there, and a disagreement between two such sites is itself the finding.
