BingoPlus Sports Tab: How to Read the Sportsbook's Prices

BingoPlus sports means one product: the Sport tab on a computer, the Sports tile on a phone, opening a sportsbook listed in the game list as "Sports" from the SABA2 studio.

FactValue
BingoPlus UnderdogThe underdog is the side a betting price rates less likely to win.
BingoPlus Odds OnOdds on means a price shorter than evens: decimal odds below 2.00, a minus sign in Indo odds.
BingoPlus Push in BettingA push in betting happens when the result lands exactly on the line, so the bet neither wins nor loses and the stake is returned.
BingoPlus Indo OddsIndo odds carry a sign.
BingoPlus Quarter BettingQuarter betting splits a basketball game into its four quarters and prices each one: who wins the quarter, a quarter handicap, and a quarter total of points.
BingoPlus Total GoalsA total goals bet is on the combined goals of both teams, over or under a line.

BingoPlus sports is a single door. On a computer the tab reads Sport; on a phone the tile reads Sports; behind both sits one product, listed in the lobby’s game list as “Sports” from the SABA2 studio.

Everything else, the leagues, the markets, the prices, lives inside that product. This pillar does not quote any of its prices; it teaches you to read them before a first bet.

For the bingo rooms, perya games and card tables beside it, start at the map of the BingoPlus casino tabs.

What sits behind the BingoPlus sports tab

What the lobby showsWhere
A tab named SportDesktop lobby, seventh tab
A tile named SportsPhone home page
One product named “Sports”The game list, studio label SABA2

The BingoPlus sportsbook is that product. Its own screens list the sports, the matches and the bet types on offer, and its rules link sets how each bet settles. Read both before staking, because the same bet type can settle differently from one sportsbook to the next.

Saba sportsbook label and the odds formats

The SABA2 label in the lobby’s list is the only thing it says about the product’s maker. What you will meet inside an Asian-style book is a choice of odds formats; here is how they line up for three example prices.

DecimalHong KongMalayIndoProfit on a ₱100 win
1.800.800.80-1.25₱80
2.001.001.00+1.00₱100
2.501.50-0.67+1.50₱150

The conversions, for any decimal price D:

  1. Hong Kong = D − 1. It shows profit per 1 staked.
  2. Malay = D − 1 when D is 2.00 or less; otherwise −1 ÷ (D − 1).
  3. Indo = D − 1 when D is 2.00 or more; otherwise −1 ÷ (D − 1).

Example: at decimal 2.50, Indo is 2.50 − 1 = +1.50 and Malay is −1 ÷ 1.50 = −0.67. All three describe the same ₱150 profit on ₱100. The Indo format has its own page: how Indo odds show favourites and underdogs.

Favourites, underdogs and odds-on prices

Every two-way price splits into a favourite, the side the book thinks more likely, and an underdog.

TermDecimal rangeWhat it means for you
Odds-on favouriteBelow 2.00Profit smaller than your stake
Even money2.00Profit equal to your stake
UnderdogAbove 2.00Profit larger than your stake

Read what makes a side the underdog and why an odds-on price pays less than the stake for worked examples of each.

Totals, quarters and pushes

Three settlement ideas cover most of what confuses new bettors.

  1. Totals. Over or under a line of goals or points. A half line such as 2.5 cannot tie; see how a total goals market settles.
  2. Quarters. Basketball markets on a single quarter, with their own rules for a level quarter; see how quarter betting settles in basketball.
  3. Pushes. When the result lands exactly on a whole-number line, the stake is returned; see what a push in betting means.

Implied probability: the check behind every price

A decimal price converts to the book’s implied probability with one division: 1 ÷ D.

DecimalImplied probability
1.5066.7%
2.0050.0%
3.0033.3%

Add the implied probabilities of every outcome in a market and the total comes to more than 100%. The excess is the book’s margin, the price you pay for the bet. Example: two sides both at 1.90 imply 52.6% each, 105.3% together, so the margin is about 5.3%.

The bet types you will meet first

Inside an Asian-style sportsbook the same match is offered several ways. Knowing the names saves time on the first screen.

Bet typeWhat you are predictingCan it tie?
Match winner (1X2)Home, draw or away, in sports with drawsThe draw is its own result
Money lineWho wins, in sports without a drawOvertime usually counts
HandicapThe result after a head start is appliedWhole lines can push
Over / underThe combined score against a lineWhole lines can push
Quarter or half marketsOne part of the game onlyDepends on the market

Each bet type has its own section inside a match page. The underdog page shows how a handicap gives the weaker side a start, and the total goals page shows every kind of over and under line.

Live and pre-match prices on the BingoPlus sportsbook

Pre-match prices are set before kick-off or tip-off and move slowly. Live prices update during play and can be suspended for a few seconds after a goal or a basket. If a live bet is refused, the price moved while your slip was open; check the new price and decide again.

Before a first bet

  1. Set the format you read most easily in the product’s settings.
  2. Open the rules link and read how postponements, overtime and voids are handled.
  3. Pick a stake with a fixed bet unit for each wager.
  4. Set a stop in advance, the way the glossary’s loss limit entry describes.

Keeping a simple bet record

A short record turns a run of bets into something you can learn from. Four columns are enough.

DateBet and priceStakeResult
ExampleTeam A at 1.80₱100Won, ₱80 profit
ExampleOver 2.5 at 2.05₱100Lost

After twenty or thirty entries the record shows whether you favour short prices or long ones, and whether your stakes stayed level. That is more useful than any single result, and it makes a losing week visible before it becomes a losing month.

Problems and fixes on the sportsbook

Problem

The odds look nothing like the decimal prices you know.

Fix

The product is probably showing Malay, Indo or Hong Kong odds. Switch to decimal in its settings, or use the conversion table above.

Problem

A bet was voided and the stake returned.

Fix

Postponed or abandoned matches are commonly voided under a sportsbook’s rules. The rules link inside the Sports product shows the exact conditions.

Problem

A total bet came back as a push.

Fix

The result landed exactly on a whole-number line, so the stake was returned. Choose half lines if you want a result either way.
