Published feesMaya’s cash-in page says selected partners accept up to PHP 8,000 monthly in total free of charge and then charge 2 per cent on the excess. Because the figure was taken from Maya’s own site without a fresh fetch during verification, treat it as weaker than the GCash schedule above, which was read first-hand.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. GCash expresses its cap as the balance a wallet holds at any one time. Comparing the two figures side by side is not meaningful, since each one measures something else, even though it is often presented as a fair comparison.

These figures are a snapshot taken in 2026-09 rather than a live feed. Because limits and fees shift at payment providers with no notice given, only the provider’s own page is a current source.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

The e-wallet terms and conditions from Maya, read in full, say nothing specific about gambling and restrict only illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches in general terms. Under the CREDIT CARD terms, which belong to a different product, ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ is listed as a restricted transaction and the stated consequence is suspension or cancellation of the card. Maya fell under BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025 too, which led it to remove gambling and gaming links from the app. A credit card agreement’s restriction applies to the card and says nothing about the wallet, which is why the difference between the products counts.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — Wallet limit of PHP 50,000 per month and purchase limit of PHP 50,000 per day. Bank transfers by InstaPay are out at this tier, as is sending to other Maya users
  • Upgraded — Verification asks for a video selfie, a valid ID and a verified address together. A wallet limit of PHP 100,000 per month applies, with purchases allowed up to PHP 100,000 each day; sending to another Maya user tops out at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 daily; InstaPay out stops at PHP 50,000 a day and PHP 100,000 a month
  • Super Users — The wallet is limited to PHP 500,000 a month, and daily purchases and sends are limited to PHP 500,000 as well. Which accounts get into this tier is not stated in anything Maya publishes
  • Ultimate Users — A PHP 5,000,000 cap applies to the wallet each month, alongside PHP 5,000,000 limits on daily purchases and sends. Which accounts get into this tier is not stated in anything Maya publishes

The published ceiling of Basic users are held to PHP 50,000, Upgraded users to PHP 100,000 per month, Super Users to PHP 500,000 and Ultimate Users to PHP 5,000,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles within moments on wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, while PESONet settles on the same banking day. This speaks to the rail and not the casino: before a withdrawal ever gets to Maya, the operator can keep it for its own review, and that is typically where the waiting comes from.

A per-transaction cap of Upgraded-tier limits: PHP 20,000 for each transaction to another Maya user and PHP 50,000 a day on InstaPay transfers out applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
