How a standard Tongits hand ends
Tongits is a draw-and-discard game for three players with a 52-card deck. The common rules, which each table’s rules screen confirms or changes, run like this.
- The deal. The dealer gets 13 cards and the other two players 12 each; the rest form the stock.
- Turns. On your turn you draw from the stock or take the last discard, lay down melds if you can, and discard one card.
- Melds. Three or four of a kind, or a run of three or more in one suit.
- Sapaw. You may add cards to melds already on the table, yours or an opponent’s.
- The end. A hand ends in one of three ways, below.

Tongits Joker and the other GameZone tables
Tongits Joker’s name points to a joker in the deck, which can stand in for a missing card in a meld. Tongits Quick and Tongits Jackpot complete GameZone’s four.

- Note the stake per hand and how points convert to winnings.
Tongits Star from JILI
Tongits Star is JILI’s version, one of six JILI card tables on the tab. JDB’s Tongits Rush and Tongits Fight and KM’s plain Tongits complete the eight. Each studio’s table looks and paces differently, so try a hand with a small stake before choosing one to stay at.
