Philippine casino talk keeps bringing up GrabPay, and the figures that go with it generally come from the casino and not from GrabPay. Figures here are the ones the provider itself has published.

These figures are a snapshot taken in 2026-09 rather than a live feed. Because limits and fees shift at payment providers with no notice given, only the provider’s own page is a current source.

What GrabPay says about gambling transactions

No other Philippine e-wallet examined states its gambling stance as plainly, and the stance is a prohibition. Grab’s Acceptable Use Policy, found in its own terms of service, forbids GrabPay for gambling and gaming and for any other activity that involves an entry fee and a prize, and its examples include sports betting, fantasy sports, lottery tickets, casino games and horse or greyhound racing; a narrow exception is made only for gambling that is registered with the appropriate government agency. GrabPay’s own published terms would contradict any page claiming that GrabPay is a straightforward way to top up a casino account.

How fast money actually moves

GrabPay settles as it happens, for transfers between wallets. The wallet operates in Philippine pesos only. The description covers the rail only, since a casino can hold a withdrawal for review before GrabPay sees it, and that review is generally the cause of waiting.

A per-transaction cap is not published. None is published for this rail.

Verification tiers

  • Restricted wallet — A default, unverified tier whose monthly loading cap is PHP 10,000
  • Standard Consumer wallet — Loading is capped at PHP 100,000 each month on this verified consumer tier
  • Driver or Merchant wallet — Grab drivers and merchants use this business-facing tier, where loading is capped at PHP 250,000 per month

The published ceiling of Monthly loading of PHP 100,000 on a Standard Consumer wallet, PHP 10,000 on a Restricted wallet, and PHP 250,000 on a driver or merchant wallet applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

Grab’s cash-in and cash-out methods are missing from its terms of service, and the help centre, which is a script-rendered application, was unreadable in research. They are absent by choice, since assembling them from third-party descriptions was the alternative.
