BingoPlus Business Days: Counting a Processing Period Correctly
Business days are working days, Monday to Friday, not counting public holidays.
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| BingoPlus Large Withdrawal | Under the BingoPlus Terms of Use, a large withdrawal sits in a longer processing band: Php50,000.00 to Php500,000.00 takes three to five business days, and Php500,000.00 and above five to ten, against one to three for smaller amounts. |
| BingoPlus Minimum Deposit | The BingoPlus cashier preview, shown logged out at phone width, prints "Enter Amount: 20-50,000", so the smallest deposit it shows is ₱20 and the largest ₱50,000 per transaction on that screen. |
Business days are the unit most cashier terms use, and the one most often misread. They are working days on the calendar: Monday to Friday, with public holidays left out. The BingoPlus Terms of Use quote their processing periods in business days, so knowing how to count them tells you when to expect a transaction and when it is fair to ask about it.
The cashier routes themselves are on the BingoPlus cash-in pillar.
What counts as a business day
| Day | Business day? |
|---|---|
| Monday to Friday | Yes |
| Saturday | No |
| Sunday | No |
| Regular and special non-working public holidays | No |
Banks and payment networks set their own calendars, so a holiday that closes banks also pauses transfers that depend on them.
How to count business days from a request
Example with dates chosen for illustration, for a request quoted at one to three business days and made on a Friday:
- Friday: the request is made; counting starts on the next business day.
- Monday: business day 1.
- Tuesday: business day 2.
- Wednesday: business day 3, the end of the quoted period.
If the Monday were a public holiday, the period would end on Thursday instead.
The processing time bands in the BingoPlus Terms
The Terms of Use set standard processing periods for deposits and withdrawals by amount, “Subject to applicable Anti-Money Laundering Act rules and regulations … which may extend processing times”.
| Amount | Standard processing time |
|---|---|
| Php1.00 to Php50,000.00 | One (1) to three (3) business days |
| Php50,000.00 to Php500,000.00 | Three (3) to five (5) business days |
| Php500,000.00 and above | Five (5) to ten (10) business days |
The Terms add that delays caused by a payment provider’s scheduled maintenance are monitored within 24 hours. A promo card on the lobby claims much faster withdrawals, “99% + OF WITHDRAWALS ARRIVE WITHIN 7 SECONDS”; the Terms’ table above is the standard the lobby’s own rules set.
Withdrawal processing: when to follow up
- Note the day and time you made the request.
- Count the business days for your amount band.
- If the period has passed, ask live chat with your reference.
For amounts above Php50,000.00, see why a large withdrawal takes longer. How bank rails settle once a payment is released is on the bank transfer page, and the smallest amount the cashier takes is on the minimum deposit page.
Three business days have passed and the withdrawal has not arrived.
Check whether a weekend or holiday fell in the period, then contact live chat with the request time and reference. Anti-money-laundering checks can extend the period under the Terms.
FAQ
Do business days include Saturday and Sunday?
No. Business days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays are also skipped.
What processing time do the BingoPlus Terms set?
One to three business days for Php1.00 to Php50,000.00, three to five for Php50,000.00 to Php500,000.00, and five to ten for Php500,000.00 and above, subject to anti-money-laundering checks.
Is a business day the same as 24 hours?
No. A business day is a working day on the calendar, not a 24-hour period, so a request made late on one day may count from the next.
