BingoPlus Indo Odds: Reading the Plus and the Minus
Indo odds carry a sign.
| Fact | Value |
|---|---|
| BingoPlus Odds On | Odds on means a price shorter than evens: decimal odds below 2.00, a minus sign in Indo odds. |
| BingoPlus Push in Betting | A push in betting happens when the result lands exactly on the line, so the bet neither wins nor loses and the stake is returned. |
| BingoPlus Quarter Betting | Quarter betting splits a basketball game into its four quarters and prices each one: who wins the quarter, a quarter handicap, and a quarter total of points. |
| BingoPlus Total Goals | A total goals bet is on the combined goals of both teams, over or under a line. |
| BingoPlus Underdog | The underdog is the side a betting price rates less likely to win. |
Indo odds are the sportsbook format with a sign in front. A plus price tells you what you win; a minus price tells you what you must risk. Once you read the sign first, the number explains itself, and converting to decimal takes one step. Asian sportsbooks commonly offer Indo as one of their display options beside decimal, Hong Kong and Malay.
Decimal, Hong Kong and Malay prices, and what the BingoPlus Sport tab opens, are covered on the page about reading BingoPlus sports prices.
Reading Indo odds: the sign first
| Indo price | Meaning | Side |
|---|---|---|
| +1.50 | Win 1.50 for every 1 staked | Underdog |
| +1.00 | Win 1 for every 1 staked | Even money |
| -1.25 | Stake 1.25 to win 1 | Favourite |
| -2.00 | Stake 2 to win 1 | Strong favourite |
The plus side is where an underdog’s price sits; the minus side is where an odds-on favourite sits.
Indonesian odds converted to decimal and Malay
Indonesian odds convert cleanly in both directions.
- Plus Indo to decimal: add 1. +1.50 becomes 2.50.
- Minus Indo to decimal: 1 + (1 ÷ the number without its sign). -1.25 becomes 1 + 0.80 = 1.80.
- Decimal to Indo, at 2.00 or above: subtract 1. 3.00 becomes +2.00.
- Decimal to Indo, below 2.00: -1 ÷ (decimal − 1). 1.50 becomes -1 ÷ 0.50 = -2.00.
| Indo | Decimal | Malay |
|---|---|---|
| +2.00 | 3.00 | -0.50 |
| +1.50 | 2.50 | -0.67 |
| +1.00 | 2.00 | 1.00 |
| -1.25 | 1.80 | 0.80 |
| -2.00 | 1.50 | 0.50 |
Malay and Indo mirror each other: where one shows a minus, the other shows a plus.
Worked payouts
Example with round numbers, each on a winning bet:
| Bet | Indo price | Profit | Total returned |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₱100 | +1.50 | ₱150 | ₱250 |
| ₱100 | +1.00 | ₱100 | ₱200 |
| ₱125 | -1.25 | ₱100 | ₱225 |
| ₱200 | -2.00 | ₱100 | ₱300 |
With a minus price, your profit is the stake divided by the number: ₱125 ÷ 1.25 = ₱100.
Switching formats on a sportsbook
Most Asian-style books let you choose the format in their settings. If you think in decimal, switch to it; if you prefer to see at a glance which side is the favourite, Indo’s sign does that for you.
A minus price made you think the bet loses money.
The minus is not a loss. It is the stake needed to win 1 in profit; a winning bet still returns your stake plus that profit.
FAQ
What does -1.25 mean in Indo odds?
You stake 1.25 to win 1 in profit. On a ₱125 bet a win returns ₱100 profit plus your ₱125 back. In decimal that is 1.80.
What does +2.00 mean in Indo odds?
You win 2 in profit for every 1 staked. A ₱100 bet that wins returns ₱200 profit plus the ₱100 stake. In decimal that is 3.00.
Are Indo odds the same as American odds?
They follow the same sign logic, divided by 100. Indo +1.50 is American +150, and Indo -1.25 is American -125.
